Joss Whedon is primarily known as creator of one of the most critically acclaimed and academically studied television shows ever produced: BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. He also created and executive produced BUFFY’s successful spinoff ANGEL, the cult favorite FIREFLY and the highly controversial DOLLHOUSE. He is a big player in the burgeoning web series industry (R. TAM SESSIONS, DR. HORRIBLE’S SING-ALONG BLOG), and perhaps is best known to movie fans as a director of THE AVENGERS. His other film projects include SERENITY, THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, and IN YOUR EYES. Whedon is also active in the world of comic books.
